Italian banker killed his family

Sixty-seven-year-old banker Lamberto Albuzzani (Lamberto Albuzzani) killed his wife and 23-year-old son in his own house, and then shot himself.

According to local media, the head of the Credit Cooperative Bank of the Prato Region (Banca Credito Cooperativo Area Pratese) fired only five shots from his hunting rifle. The first of them "went" to the wife of the man: her body was found on the threshold of the house. Then the banker near the stairs found his son, whom he also ruthlessly shot, two times pulling the trigger.

The president of the bank has not experienced the best of times lately. In June, he was charged with falsifying bank statements.

Albuzzani was suspected of fraud after the tax service did not count two million euros indicated in the annual report of the bank.

In addition, the desperate banker prevented the investigation of his case, which is also a serious crime. Thus, at the time of his suicide, the offender was under investigation. Recently, as part of an investigation, a search was carried out in his house, where he shot his wife and son. The local police have already begun to solve the case. It is reported that Albuzzani could rightly be called an exemplary family man. Previously, he was not noted for violent behavior, from the neighbors no complaints were also received. So far, the carabinieri find it difficult to answer the question of what caused such a brutal reprisal and the subsequent lynching. No evidence was found at the crime scene that prompted the investigation to a possible motive for Albutstsani's actions.

However, police said five rifles were stored in the banker's house: their presence is explained by the man’s passion for hunting pheasants.

A bell with a message about the murder and suicide was heard at the local police department at 18:30. The police number was dialed by one of Albuzziani's neighbors, who heard gunfire. The front door of the banker's house was open, and when a neighbor entered the house, the first person he saw was the criminal himself, leaning on a gun. Around him lay the bodies of a 65-year-old wife and son. As an eyewitness recalls, the head of the bank took a few breaths and fell dead. Arriving at the scene, the police and the ambulance stated the death of the whole family.

“I can’t believe what happened,” says a neighbor who witnessed a terrible scene. “They had such a good family.”

Residents of neighboring houses confirm his words. Last year, the banker underwent heart surgery, they recall, and his wife and son tried their best to support his father after an illness.

“We simply cannot understand how a perfectly calm person who always smiled and did not arouse any suspicion could do so. He wholeheartedly loved his wife and son. Not so long ago, the guy graduated from the university and was about to get married, ”- Paola, a neighbor of the banker, sadly explains.

“I'm in shock,” says Fabrizio Pagliai, vice president of the Credit Cooperative Bank of the Prato region. “Yesterday I saw him at work. He was absolutely calm. "

Palyai also said that after it became known about the death of Albutstsani, letters “fell” to the bank, and the phones did not stop ringing for a minute. People were simply shocked by the sad news and could not believe that it was true. The mayor of Carmignano, Doriano Cirri, who knew the suicide, added: “I met him after Christmas to congratulate him on this occasion. We talked about plans for 2014. And three days ago I saw him in a bar. He was in a good mood. I can’t understand how this could happen. ”
