In 1758, one of the family representatives was honored at the Palace - Carl Rezzonico, elected by the Pope of Rome and known by the name of Clement XIII.

By the beginning of the 19th century, the Ca'Rezzonico Palace changed hosts several times. The last of its owners was the Venetian Municipality, which acquired it in 1935.

From 1936 to the present day, the Museum of the 18th Century Venice is located in the building of the Ca'Rezzonico Palace.

Interior Ca'Rezzonico blinds with brilliant decoration and especially with magnificent ceiling paintings, works by artists Crozato and Tiepolo. In addition, the museum has a large collection of paintings by Guardi, Pietro Longa, Visconti, Tintoretto, as well as the Venetian landscapes of Canaletto and others.

Ca 'd'Oro, Franchetti Gallery (Ca' d'Oro, Franchetti Gallery)

Among the hundreds of palaces framing the Grand Canal of Venice, stands out the pearl of Gothic palace architecture - Ca 'd'Oro (literally - the Golden House), which got its name because of the gold plates that originally covered its facade.
